"It is time to put public service back into politics"

Vote for Susan F. Rzucidlo, 158th Legislative District

About Susan Rzucidlo:

Dedicated to serving our community with honestly and integrity.

Susan Rzucidlo has lived in Chester County for all but 2 years of her life. She and her husband of 23 years own a small farming business, together they have four children ranging from 13 – 20 years of age. She is also the founder and Executive Director of SPEAK Unlimited, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides support and education to families and emergency professionals across the nation. Susan has spent many hours as a volunteer on committees and Boards in our schools, community, county and state for many years. She is a resourceful leader, who has proven her ability to connect with people, rework systems, and bring innovative and effective resolutions to difficult issues.

Her work in Harrisburg on behalf of people with disabilities opened her eyes to the ways Harrisburg works across all areas, good programs stopped by both sides refusing to work together because of partisan politics, a lack of concern regarding significant wasteful spending and a blind acceptance of sweetheart deals that spend public monies to advance individuals agendas. Susan believes the system is broken and we need people in Harrisburg who are willing and able to put the needs of the public ahead of all else; she decided to run for office in order to make a difference. Susan wants to put public service back into politics. She will serve the residents of the 158th district in Chester County and work to improve life for everyone in Pennsylvania. And her record shows she can do it:

  • Co- owner of Silent Z Farm Inc., since 1989.
  • Founder and Executive Director of SPEAK Unlimited Inc., a nonprofit organization that supports, educates and serves Public Safety Professionals and the community.
  • Co-Created and gifted the Premise Alert System to the state, gathering support from Democrats and Republicans in both the Senate and the House, state agencies, police departments and community groups.
  • Nationally recognized advocate for people with special needs.
  • Developed and implemented innovative programs in education, public safety, criminal justice and disability awareness.

Susan believes it is time to put public service back into politics. She is committed to ending pay-to-play politics, sweetheart deals and no-bid contracts in Harrisburg. She further expects to continue to work with both Republicans and Democrats to reform campaign finance laws in Pennsylvania, ban gifts to legislators and enact an Adult Protective Services Law. Susan is concerned about the environmental and economic impact of the development of the Marcellus Shale in Pennsylvania and supports strong regulations to protect our people, the environment, and the public land.

Susan has consistently shown her commitment to helping people; she will bring transparency and common sense to the State House.
