As a recipient of her considerable fund of knowledge, people and resources, I am pleased to have the opportunity to show my support of Susan Rzucidlo.

I have known Susan Rzucidlo for years. Susan has supported my volunteer efforts with self-advocates in PA; she has been an advisor to me on behalf of my adult son who has disabilities. She has offered her help with no expectations -- she just does it because she can and she can’t imaging not helping when she’s asked -- by anyone, anywhere.

Susan is a visionary -- It is always amazing when we sit and talk to hear her ideas, flowing one after another. And, she always has a practical proposal on how to support those ideas -- such as her ideas to create jobs for people in Chester County from all walks of life, practical and doable and at little or no cost to taxpayers.

Susan is a coalition builder -- she finds the common ground among groups so that people have a bigger voice because they speak together. Susan is tough -- she speaks her mind -- but her natural ability to walk-a-mile in the other side’s shoes wins her the admiration of adversaries -- a great attribute in a political leader.

Susan has a track record of action. The most critical to me and my son is Premise Alert. It began when she partnered with local law enforcement and created a system of communication between police officers and people with disabilities who ran into trouble in Chester County. Her natural common sense and no-nonsense approach now helps thousands of Pennsylvanians to be much safer in their communities. Why? Because Susan donated the Premise Alert to the state. Now the Premise Alert is used by police officers and troopers in every jurisdiction! How cool is that!

This is my personal experience of Susan. I know she will be a dynamic Representative. She has the vision, the grit, the resources, and the experience to get the job done.

Words cannot describe the admiration and respect that I have for Susan Rzucidlo. I have personally known her for over 5 years in many capacities--- friend, advocate, leader and mentor. It has been a privilege to watch her build new bridges for those who cannot move for themselves, fill gaps where there needed to be a voice for those who did not have one and lay the foundation for changes where no one has gone before. Susan’s personal and professional interest for a better society can be measured for miles and her voice for the speechless has been a contributing factor for the some of the most vulnerable in our society--- those on the autism spectrum and Asperger's. I have witnessed her devote yourself to hundreds of hours for causes and I do not think that the bar would have been lifted without your involvement and perseverance. Susan’s ability to identify a need and problem solve just reinforces the need for her to be put in office and make the changes that past administrations have not seen or cannot do themselves. She has my vote!

It’s difficult to put in a short note how greatly Susan’s advocacy has impacted our son’s education and future. Throughout the lengthy process I became aware of the vast knowledge, experience, respect and concern she has not just for our son’s education but our entire family’s well being and the community as a whole. To this day our son is benefitting from intensive therapies and supported education programs he might not have if it had not been for Susan’s efforts. As a mom Susan’s support to me is invaluable . She appeared it seemed out of nowhere when we were dealing with multiple, overwhelming life changes. Simply said, Susan cares about people. She works tirelessly to improve the lives of others. Allowing Susan to do this on a greater platform can only mean good things for the people in Pennsylvania just as it has for my family over the past six years.
